Terms of Service
Draft — requires legal review before launch. Last updated: October 25, 2026.
These terms govern your use of NextOrbit, a job-search service operated by ManyOrbit ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The service
NextOrbit searches public job postings for roles that match your profile, researches and ranks them, estimates pay and callback odds, and prepares tailored resumes, cover notes and outreach drafts when you approve a job. You decide whether to apply and you send every application and message yourself. NextOrbit never applies, posts or messages anyone on your behalf.
No guarantee. These actions improve your odds but cannot guarantee a response or interview; hiring decisions rest with the employer. Scores, callback odds and salary estimates are statistical estimates, not promises.
AI output. Parts of the service use AI models. Their output can be incomplete or wrong. Review every resume, cover note and message before you use it; you are responsible for what you submit to employers. Tailored resumes are checked so they only restate facts from the resume you provided, but you must confirm their accuracy.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18, give accurate information, and keep your sign-in secure. One person per account. The service is offered to job seekers in the United States.
3. Subscription, trial and renewal
- Plans: $39 per month or $349 per year, plus applicable tax.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. A card is required. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and you are charged automatically.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel anytime from Billing (Stripe customer portal). Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then stops renewing.
- Monthly fees are not refunded for partial months. Annual plans cancelled within 14 days of the first annual charge are refunded in full; after that, no partial refunds.
- If a payment fails, the daily search pauses until the payment method is updated.
- Where the law of your state requires a different refund, that law applies.
5. Fair use
Each plan includes a daily allowance of AI research (for example, scored jobs and recommendations per day) and a monthly allowance of tailored resumes. Allowances reset daily or monthly and are shown in the app. We may limit automated or excessive use that degrades the service for others.
6. Acceptable use
Do not: misrepresent your identity or qualifications; use the service to spam employers or recruiters; scrape, resell or redistribute the service or its data; attempt to access another user's data; use bots, scripts or AI agents to extract the service's results, prompts, scoring or ranking logic in bulk; reverse engineer, decompile or copy the service or its methods; or interfere with the service's security.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of your resume and other content. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Export or delete it at any time.
8. Third-party sites
Job postings link to employers' and job boards' sites, which have their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or hiring decisions.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost opportunities, employment decisions, or indirect or consequential damages.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these terms, with a pro-rata refund if we end your account without cause.
11. Changes and contact
We will notify you of material changes by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Questions: support@manyorbit.org.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
